Candied Almonds

These candied almonds are a favorite with my father. They taste so good when warm! Substitute any nuts you prefer.

  • Ingreadient
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • ½ cup water
    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
    • 2 cups whole almonds

Direction

  1. Combine sugar, water, and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Add almonds; cook and stir mixture until liquid evaporates and leaves a syrupy coating on almonds.
  2. Pour almonds onto the prepared baking sheet; use two forks to separate clumps and spread into an even layer.
  3. Allow to cool for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
